Kheper Games recently celebrated their smash-hit game Sex! The Card Game at the Columbia Tower Club. On a cold and rainy night, the hot topics and cold drinks kept everyone in the Columbia room feeling at least a little warm. The unorthodox game for lovers—which gives new meaning to the terms "Five Card Stud" and "Poker"—has sold over a million units worldwide, has been translated into multiple languages and now offers versions for gay and lesbian couples. Friends and supporters of Kheper Games founder and CEO Brian Pellham and partner Chris Bierrum gathered in the Columbia room of the CTC to toast the company's success with complimentary drinks (including a sweet cocktail called Chocolate Sex), dance to a blend of beats and genres, and pose with props from Kheper Games' arsenal of naughty fun.

The festivities paused only briefly when Pellham took the stage to offer heartfelt thanks to all who had contributed to the success of Kheper Games, including his partner Chris and marketing magician Dariusz Kaliszuk—then it was back to partying and posing. A number of local business owners from a range of industries were spotted in the crowd, including John McDowell of Oslo's (one of the few boutique clothiers in Seattle catering strictly to men), interior designer Eduardo Mendoza of Rosichelli Mendoza, restaurateur Michelle Quisenberry of Volterra, design and business guru Cameron Smith and ecopreneur Sheldon Rosevear (who was also celebrating his birthday, but not in his birthday suit despite the tawdry tinge of the party). Other members of Seattle's fashionable social set were spotted, including fashionista and financial advisor Jiawen Shi, socialite JJ McKay, and the ever-enchanting Anne G. Smith of Barney's New York. Pals Phillip Sternola and Tony Harris made the rounds, charming and chatting up the crowd while the lovely Marianna Veress kept guests dancing, laughing and posing for photographer Mina Bast.

Congratulations to everyone at Kheper Games for the success of Sex! and a very fun and successful party.
