I'm starting the morning with meetings, then it's a quick coffee at Macrina in Belltown with my one of my besties, Boeing project manager, Korene Hubacka who's momentarily back from Tokyo where she's living for the rest of the year. She's one of my favorite fashionistas, so I'm going to wear something cool for her. The advantage of having beautiful and successful friends is that they inspire me to be my best. After not seeing each other for several months, I owe it to her to put forth some effort. I'll come home for a few hours, do some writing, and then head over to Ballard for cocktails.

Later tonight, I'm dropping by one of my favorite places, Bastille, to celebrate Kheper Games owner Brian Pellham's birthday, with his partner Coldwell Banker real estate agent Chris Bierrum. Chris and Brian are two of my favorite people to party with- the kind that I find myself laughing and being the most genuine with. Joining us is another one of our good friends, Michelle Quisenberry. Michelle is naturally inclined to be glamourous, but she also appreciates rock'n'roll edge, so my outfit will carry me all the way through the the evening.

We will all follow up with dnner at Michelle's restaurant, Volterrra. As usual. it's raining in Seattle. I absolutely love it. Yes, you heard me right. I love this day, and I love the rain. I can be cozy, with glamour and cool. Dressing for the Seattle weather, with the lifestyle of a writer/blogger, stylist, and  party girl is about the most fun warddrobe one can have. Thanks to polyvore.com I am able to construct the perfect outfits from the comfort of my Belltown apartment as I watch the rain on fall relentlessly over Elliott Bay. Speaking of cozy, tonight I think I'll order the polenta with wild mushroom gravy...
