The Fireside Lounge has become the place for an eclectic mix of artists and business people to gather on the last Tuesday of each month and connect about the latest goings on. The most recent cocktail gathering was attended by Le Grande Formage of The Sorrento Hotel herself, Barbara Malone, who easily conversed with the Bellwethers of the Seattle bohemian scene who are known to gather there. Other notable guests were ex-Google director Peter Wilson; Tavern Law  bartender Philip Thompson; Seattle's own Oscar Wilde, writer T.s. Flock; Sorrento Hotel controller John Smiley and his lovely gf Dayna; entrepreneurs and "it" couple Sasha Vorobiev and Anna Fabrega; art collector Sergey Smirnov; PNB principal dancer and Whim W'him founder Olivier Wevers; socialite and financial advisor, the ever stylish Jiawen Shi; W.Y.N.E  founder Chris Bierrum and his partner Brian Pellham; Bravo!Club members (and bachelors) Tim Gill, Aron Swanson and Ryan Miller Barnes; Seattle's highly awarded ecopreneur Sheldon Rosevear; and Product Creation Studio President and polo player Cameron Smith, whose company has been identified as one of the 100 fastest growing in Washington by Puget Sound Business Journal- and he's SINGLE.
