It was a busy Friday for the Subterfuge set. Not only was luxury car maker Tesla hosting a VIP Grand Opening for their showroom at 425 Westlake and Republic, it was polo player and Product Creation owner and president Cameron Smith's birthday and the grand opening of Copper Cart, a trendy, massive nightclub that promises to become a nightlife hotspot in Seattle…but more on that later.

Tesla:
If a room with roadster sport cars that each boast 248 horsepower and the ability to go from 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds, delicious hors d’ouvres, libations and desert sounds like your kind of party, you should have been at the Tesla party.
Subterfugeseattle.com editor, Sarah Caples, channeling Kate Moss in her leather vest, flouncy skirt, leggings and sky-high heels, tested the sexy roadsters with her husband, Seth Noble, who looked as if he belonged racing down the streets of Monte Carlo in one of these luxury coupés.

Many glamourous couples were in attendance, but we loved the European vibe of these two.
Socialite Jiawen Shi, dressed in a jumpsuit and wearing an incredible Fendi cuff joined the party, along with Dariusz Robert Kaliszuk, as usual, looking like an icon of male style, designer Eduardo Mendoza with his glamorous sister Roxana Forenza, the woman with all the connections, Michelle Quisenberry, owner of Volterra, Lisa Schepis, and Phil Bayley of Bayley Financial were all happy to socialize in the luxurious environment, and to pre-party with their friend, Cameron Smith.
Polo player and owner of the building which is housing the new Tesla showroom, Smith greeted his numerous guests, all wearing enormous grins- Tesla offered rides in the show-stopping autos, an offer most couldn’t refuse.

Cameron’s party:
It was only fitting that the residence of Cameron Smith be incredibly cool, yet understated. Not one to boast of his accomplishments, this Stanford grad, artist, polo player, and business owner has remained a mystery to many of his friends. To be invited to his penthouse to celebrate the new residence and his birthday was a treat. Guests seeing his swank flat for the first time were astonished to learn that the life-like drawings scattered throughout were authored by their friend, the polo player that routinely knocks men from their horses and bruises egos on the playing field. A bounty of food and booze could not distract party-goers from the amazing view off his wrap-around porch, nor the handsome man himself. We at Subterfuge hereby dub Cameron Smith, “Most Eligible Bachelor”. The question begs- where has this man been hiding?
Copper Cart:
Thanks to Michelle Quisenberry's friend,
Mustafa Rafa, the GM of
Cellars-the sister restaurant and bar of Copper Cart, both owned by
Kauser in addition to
Twilight- the Subterfuge Set was escorted into the VIP section, treated to drinks and shown a great time. Chief promoter
Tommy Jones, from
Twin Fist Promotions, had the cream of Seattle’s party crop packed this enormous venue Friday night. Two DJs,
Sean Majors and
Niros spun for a wiggle-room-only crowd. A beautiful, expansive bar served excited partiers, but for those overwhelmed by the sheer enormity and style of the venue, several billiard tables were there for the playing.

Sleek VIP sections were occupied by partiers that looked more LA than Seattle- even the promoters overseeing the grand opening were gorgeous. Case in point: the handsome Mike Borozdin, president of National VIP Service, who graciously greeted partiers and left whispering women in his wake.
The best experience in Copper Cart though, was sitting in the VIP balcony overlooking the entire club scene. What one sees in Copper Cart stays in Copper Cart, but let me tell you- it’s a view you don’t want to miss.
